Kenalog Epidural of kenalog 40 January 2011
Started 3 days after epidural fluid retention muscle pain weakness legs cramps heart palpations insomnia fall a sleep then ten minutes later wake up in horrible pain in limbs, couldn't sweat and couldn't have any salt added to my diet . Also hyper alert couldn't rest or relax . I have always been very sensitive to any drugs even in low doses.
May 2011 still suffering the above then I started to have stomach problem's. I became even more sensitive to any drugs. I could feel the fluid in my muscles which were hard and lumpy. Sleeping very little still hyper couldn't rest had to keep moving about, but my whole body felt weak. Totally confused due to lack of sleep still had too much cortisone in my body.
June 2011 collapsed and noises hurting ears. I could feel fluid in my head. I couldn't put my legs down I had to keep them flat. My legs hurt and felt like cardboard. Any painkillers that I tried to take in very low doses I ended up being and feeling very weak dizzy. The protein pump inhibitors (ppi) which I was prescribed for the stomach problems that started in May just gave me more problems causing me unbearable muscle pain. I had become extremely sensitive to any drugs and find my body can't cope with any drugs even low doses make me very ill. Drugs I could take before that I was able to tolerate I get extreme reactions like now when I had amytripline my face swelled up on 25 mg a day. Naproxen gave me eye pains on two tablets.
August 2011 tendon damage I could feel the fluid in my feet my right foot not recovered and still had all the problem's that started after the epidural
September 2011 started to vomit and my healthy diet became very restricted . I started have bowel problem's and blood sugar problem's as I couldn't eat or eat healthy
In eight months after having the steroid I went from be able to eat healthy and sleep to having stomach problems vomiting insomnia bowels problems blood sugar problem's being very sensitive to all drugs muscle damage and many other health problems.
To my body it was a poison a toxic substance that was injected in my spine and central nervous system that has destroyed my body and health in many horrible unbelievable ways which I can only compare to gulf war syndrome or a toxic exposure to chemicals as it has damaged my whole body system functions. Any drugs I take now just me make far worse and give me more problems.
The kenalog ruined my health if I had known it was used off label and a fluorinated drug I would never if agreed to having the epidural it has left me with many unbelievable chronic problems I can't have my central heating on in winter as it causes me unbearable muscles pains. My muscle are damaged they are hard and lumpy. My digestion system is damaged my bowels also i lost my health my healthy diet. As for sleep I haven't had a good night sleep since the kenalog I don't go to sleep till 7 am and only sleep a few hours. It has give me many unbelievable chronic life changing health problems that I didn't have before the kenalog and wouldn't of have if I had not received it.
We take our medicines in good faith and if we show any concerns about side effects the doctors believe the benefits outweigh the risks as its only their job to treat with these drugs and they may or may not fully aware of the chronic damage these drugs cause and patients are not give the full facts when they show concerns before treatment. The patients finds it hard to prove or are too ill to stand against the system that they got to fight to prove these drugs are extremely damaging to certain peoples health. Where long term chronic damage is classed as side effects not like the warnings that come with cigarettes. These drugs are just as damaging to health as cigarettes are, but don't come with warnings as to many the drugs treatments are life savers and the unlucky ones who suffer the risks don't matter. I other words if you are one of the unlucky ones who suffers from the risks your life is ruined.
